Sara Foster, 43, and former tennis pro Tommy Haas, 46, have officially split after years together, a source exclusively tells PEOPLE. The pair remain dedicated to co-parenting their two daughters, Valentina, 13, and Josephine, 8.
Representatives for Foster, a podcaster and entrepreneur, and Haas have not yet commented on the news.
Their relationship, which began when Foster was 25, has often been in the spotlight. In 2021, Foster humorously called out Haas on Valentine’s Day for liking Instagram photos of women in bikinis. “Happy Valentine’s Day to the guy that hasn’t figured out yet that ‘likes’ are public,” she wrote, sharing screenshots of the posts Haas had liked.
Haas playfully responded, revealing that Foster herself had liked a shirtless photo of Bachelorette alum Tyler Cameron.
Foster previously described their relationship as “basically married” during a podcast appearance in 2023. She spoke about their deep connection, saying, “Our lives are completely intertwined and together.” However, Foster candidly acknowledged that her views on marriage were shaped by her upbringing, which lacked a strong foundation for the institution.
The couple’s dynamic has often been both humorous and relatable. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Foster joked about running out of things to argue about after being quarantined together. Despite their disagreements on everything from mattress firmness to sushi, she highlighted their mutual agreement on important values, like wearing masks during the pandemic.
While their romantic relationship has ended, Foster and Haas are united in prioritizing their daughters and moving forward amicably.
